Mercury retrograde · 2026
Mercury retrograde is a time of rereading: exchanges, travel, contracts and tools ask for a second check. It is not a curse, it is an invitation to review, rephrase, reconnect, three times a year for three weeks.
Times in UTC.
In Pisces, this retrograde reviews empathy, imagination and intuition. If you have a planet or an angle between 8°29' Pisces and 22°33' Pisces, this retrograde concerns you closely: Mercury passes over it three times.
In Cancer, this retrograde reviews protection, sensitivity and memory. If you have a planet or an angle between 16°19' Cancer and 26°15' Cancer, this retrograde concerns you closely: Mercury passes over it three times.
In Scorpio, this retrograde reviews intensity, transformation and depth. If you have a planet or an angle between 5°02' Scorpio and 20°58' Scorpio, this retrograde concerns you closely: Mercury passes over it three times.
About one person in five is born with Mercury retrograde, fewer with Venus or Mars. During the sky’s retrogrades these people are often more at ease than others: it is their native mode.

Reread before sending, reconfirm appointments, back up your files. Pick up a file left pending, reach out to someone you lost touch with. Revise, edit, repair: everything that starts with “re”. Keep margin in journeys and deadlines.
The degrees the planet covers three times: once before the retrograde station, once backwards, once after the direct station. Entering the shadow announces the themes, leaving it concludes them.
