Mercury retrograde · 2025
Mercury retrograde is a time of rereading: exchanges, travel, contracts and tools ask for a second check. It is not a curse, it is an invitation to review, rephrase, reconnect, three times a year for three weeks.
Times in UTC.
In Aries, this retrograde reviews drive, courage and initiative. If you have a planet or an angle between 26°49' Pisces and 9°35' Aries, this retrograde concerns you closely: Mercury passes over it three times.
In Leo, this retrograde reviews radiance, creativity and generosity. If you have a planet or an angle between 4°14' Leo and 15°34' Leo, this retrograde concerns you closely: Mercury passes over it three times.
In Sagittarius, this retrograde reviews exploration, optimism and meaning. If you have a planet or an angle between 20°42' Scorpio and 6°51' Sagittarius, this retrograde concerns you closely: Mercury passes over it three times.
About one person in five is born with Mercury retrograde, fewer with Venus or Mars. During the sky’s retrogrades these people are often more at ease than others: it is their native mode.
