19° Capricorn: the last glow of the decan of Venus

The twentieth degree of the sign, 19° Capricorn ends the second decan before Mercury takes the helm at 20°. It keeps the Leo dwad and the term of Venus: it is the last degree where Venusian gentleness expresses itself within the substance of ambition. The result is a degree of emotional and creative fulfillment, where you want success to have a human face, a taste, a signature, and where you cultivate relationships of quality rather than many.

A Sun at 19° Capricorn aims at work it can be proud of: art direction, high-end restaurants, craftsmanship of excellence, mentoring. The Moon here wants a noble, faithful emotional life, set to the rhythm of beautiful rituals. Venus is sumptuous but demanding here, and Mars defends its values with warmth and obstinacy. For the Ascendant at 19° Capricorn, the image is one of natural class: a person who looks after every detail and draws eyes without having sought it.

Your lever is to let imperfection in. The last degree of a decan pushes toward refinement, and refinement can turn into demands on yourself and on others. Admit that a good project need not be perfect, that a sincere relationship has its uneven edges. By accepting to be judged on the whole rather than the detail, you keep your sense of beauty and gain lightness, which prepares you for the precision of the next decan without being its prisoner.
