22° Aries: a sense of justice that puts itself in motion

22° Aries, from 22°00′ to 22°59′, is the last degree of the Sagittarius dwad, which ends at 22°30′, in the third decan under Jupiter and Mars’s term. The degree concentrates a mix of principles and combativeness: you want things to be fair and you are ready to put energy into it. Its frankness can seem brutal to those without convictions, but it is rarely malicious; it is the voice of an inner code you hold to.

A Sun at 22° Aries embodies a cause: commitment, teaching, defense of an ideal, it makes its life a message. A Moon here has trouble with injustice and reacts sharply when it witnesses it. Venus loves in an alliance of values: sharing the same convictions counts as much as sharing an attraction. Mars activates to defend; the Ascendant at 22° Aries gives an air of quiet conviction, an upright carriage and a gaze that announces a clear position.

The lever for growth is nuancing conviction. It is legitimate to defend your principles, but a code that is too rigid can discourage those who don’t share it yet. Once a week, listen to an opposing opinion all the way through without preparing your reply, and look for what is true in it. This exercise enriches your convictions rather than weakening them, and makes you a respected spokesperson, even among those who don’t share your choices.
