Ruled by Jupiter, planet of expansion and faith, the Sun in Sagittarius gives you an identity turned toward distance, meaning and growth. You need to understand why things exist, to discover other cultures, other ways of thinking, other landscapes. Your optimism isn’t naïveté: it’s a deep conviction that life has meaning and that every experience teaches something. Someone with the Sun in Sagittarius is an eternal student and a natural teacher. You inspire others with your enthusiasm and your candor, and you make them want to widen their own vision of what’s possible.
Your decan: 2nd decan of Sagittarius
Mars arms the arrow of the second decan of Sagittarius: you don’t just aim at the horizon, you set out to conquer it.
Born between about December 2 and 11, on a date that varies with the year and time of birth, you belong to the second decan of Sagittarius, colored by Mars. Jupiterian expansion turns into conquering energy here: you’re the combative Sagittarius, the one who defends convictions with fire, who acts more than contemplates and who loves taking on physical and moral challenges. Your courage is spontaneous, your frankness cutting, your independence fierce. More impulsive than the first decan, you’re also more concrete: you want results, not just ideals.
